Complete horse stall system

Northern Light Horse Stalls are not a kit. We pre-build each stall to meet your needs. Our stalls come shipped in three main components: a completely assembled door, a completely assembled front panel and a framed grillwork section. Our quality components come assembled complete. You simply sink the posts and header, then install our completed pieces to finish your stall. We even supply all the hardware you need.

Quality components. All Northern Light Horse Stall components are made from structural strength, Number One, yellow southern pine. All stalls arrive in their natural wood state ready for you to add your own custom touch with stain or paint. Quality hardware is a necessity in any stall system, and we use only top-of-the-line National^tm brand galvanized hardware.

Our standard horse stall door styles Completely Assembled Doors built for safety and durability Our doors are not a kit! They arrive at your door fully assembled with top-quality wood and grillwork already in place. They arrive ready to hang with the galvanized top-of-the-line hardware we provide. Plus, they come complete with galvanized metal chew guards on the inside edges of the grill area to prevent cribbing and chewing. Northern Lights horse stall doors are 4' wide x 7' high and constructed to 2^1/8" thickness. Our horse stall doors are made with Number One yellow southern pine, which is a structural strength that is as beautiful as it is sturdy. On the door's exterior we use 2 x 6 tongue-and-groove construction that's overlapped for extra strength. Then we use a 5/8" premium Aspen wood underlayment behind the pine tongue and groove for a tough smooth interior. Plus, we use interlocked wood joints on all our corners. This means you get an extra-strong door that doesn't warp. Plus, you don't have any metal reinforced sides or exposed plywood.

Our horse stall door latch options
We don't skimp on the door hardware either! You can choose between a pin latch that leaves your door opening totally free of exposed hardware or a spring loaded latch. Either way, we take the extra effort to provide you with latches that are safe for your horses. No more hips or legs caught on exposed door latches! Our door hanger and rolling system is also made with top quality in mind. You'll notice the difference when you close a Northern Light stall door. We use sealed ball-bearing rollers made of derin, a super strength hardened rubber. This means no squeaky, loud doors. Plus, the roller system is rated to hold over 400 pounds, over three times the weight of the door, which means added durability and life. For an extra special touch we also offer double-sided doors with our beautiful tongue-and-groove construction on both sides.

Completely assembled stall front panel Northern Light Stalls offers you completely assembled stall front panels! No kits or trips the lumber yard. Our front panels are made with tongue-and-groove overlapped pine construction on the exterior and finished with a premium 3/4 inch Aspen wood underlayment on the interior side. Plus, we go one step farther and fully trim the panel edges for a better-looking, longer-lasting stall. This exclusive, durable design means you'll never have to replace stall boards. These fully assembled stall panels fit with our grill panels and coordinate with your choice of stall door for a sleek and streamlined look. Our panels are 49^1/2" high and 1^1/2" thick, and the width is determined by your stall size. For between your stalls, we also offer top-quality coordinating tongue-and-groove sidewall packages.

Completely assembled grill panels Our front and side grill panels come in two varieties. A wood-framed metal and a solid one-piece welded metal unit. Both varieties are constructed to fit with our completely assembled panels.

Our wood framed grill panels are constructed from 18-gauge 7/8 inch triple-coated metal bars set into a Number One grade, solid pine frame. The bars are spaced 4 inches on center, or nearly 3^1/2 inches apart. To prevent corrosion, our bars are triple-coated with layers of zinc, conversion coating and a clear organic polymer. This makes Northern Light steel bars far superior to regular steel bars that rust. The bars are then set into a top-grade pine frame and fitted with galvanized metal chew guards. For that extra special touch, we also offer powder coating on our wood framed grills as an upgrade.

As you can see, our solid-welded grill panels are all metal with 1^1/2inch angle iron fasteners that make for a frameless appearance. These grills are made from 14-gauge 3/4 inch metal pipe with a solid-welded frame. These bars are spaced 3 inches on center for a slightly closer construction. Solid-welded grills come with a powder coated finish. The metal grills undergo a process that electrically charges then, then a dry, colored powder is sprayed and baked on to the metal for a durable finish. The sample shown is a silver-vein finish, but we have an endless number of color options that you can choose from.

Both the wood-framed and solid-welded grills come 33 inches high and 1^1/2inches thick. You determine the width based on your stall size.
